Good day care with Buddy the Pug & Oliver the Labradoodle

By Dog Bro
July 11, 2026

Pugs are special little dogs. The owners are very typically pug passionates. Focused on getting that breed and none other. Not sure why. Wouldl ike to talk to a passionate pug person. Not one to stereotype people or dogs. All the pugs I have watched have been, social, fun, no trouble at all. They are all also what, maybe 15 lbs lol Their little faces crack me up. They are the Men In Black alien dogs. Love them.

Here is some good information about pugs from American Kennel Club. – Pugs are one of the oldest and most revered dog breeds, originating in China around 400 B.C. Originally bred as strictly guarded companions for Chinese emperors and nobility, their distinct features were carefully shaped to resemble stylized lions and even auspicious Chinese characters. [1, 2]

Royalty and Global Spread

For centuries, pugs were highly prized and could only be acquired by outsiders as imperial gifts. They eventually made their way to Europe in the 1500s aboard Dutch trading ships. Once in Europe, they quickly became the favorite of royals and monarchs, including Holland’s House of Orange and England’s Queen Victoria. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

For a look at how pugs evolved from imperial status symbols to the beloved companions we know today:

Doodles are the craze out here. Golden, berndoodle, and like Oliver…..labradoodle. Berns are the biggest, can be huge, goldens small, labras in the middle. Oliver had a good day. Very shy, his human messaged a ton wondering how he was doing – that’s fine, deal with that all the time. Take you pups to the park, board, day care them early to develop their coping, social, and life skills. We helped Oliver develop, build character today. Book a service with us today! Day care, boarding, walking, park trip, all fun stuff. Thank you
